I was sent this today by a friend and thought I would share it.

It's a great talk on the phenomenon of UFOs and alien encounters which ties in with a routine I am working on about beliefs and opinions.

I liked it. Hope you do too.

There's nothing to enjoy other than a photo of a geek...

And on the subject of geeks.....I hope you'll include that god-aweful Richard Dawkins (god-AWEful, see what I did there?). Living proof that fundamentalists come in all flavours, including the atheistic.

Sorry. Bit of a technical hitch.

If you still want to watch the video, click on the picture or the hyperlink.

OK, started to watch this and it was great to begin with but I soon lost interest in his little boy on the street bit and gonged him off by exiting the page.

He has a great idea though: taking the piss out of all of us by applying science and analysis. Just thought it could have been punchier.

His attitude could be applied not just to little green men - how about global warming and chaos theory? There is a serious piece of comedy here (I already know this sucks by the way) about how we as humans think that we are SO important that we can fuck up the earth and when will we learn that basically we are as important to Gaia as dog shit is to our shoes?

SO this guy? Great idea - crap delivery.

Yes I thought the same.

I think there is something in this. I reckon I could do something similar. But better.

I'm interested in talking about the crazy beliefs that people have like UFOs and fairies. But also in the more socially acceptable forms of delusion that people harbour, like the environment, the economy and who should be in the England team.
