Following my publication of that wonderful picture of me with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and my account of his ringing (and totally bogus) endorsment, the total number of people who have signed up for the Sam Brady Newsletter currently stands at 2!
That wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that both of these individuals are the same 2 people who regularly read and comment on my blogs anyway.
I have thought about doing an expensive correspondence course in Internet Marketing. Or maybe buying one of those mailing lists where you spam everyone in the world.
But on reflection I think I'll just try and write some good jokes. In the long run, that's probably the best strategy.

Anyway - internet marketing (misnomer for the advertising equivalent of carpet bombing with naplam) seems like a vein of material for your gag-bank...? Plus, you could finish off your act at some venues (Comedy Store yes, that rough pup in Nottingham no) by giving the punters your blog details and try to get a wider readership and more victims for the newsletter.
So why would anyone want to sign up do you think (part from masochism)?
I thought people might like the idea of a monthly update rather than having to remember to visit the site on the off-chance there might be something good on it.
It doesn't really matter whether people go for it or not - it's just another option.
Anyway the first newsletter will be out in the next couple of days. woo-hoo!
